Chamomile Lip Balm
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp Chamomile infused oil
2 tbsp grated beeswax
3 drops chamomile essential oil
1 Vitamin E capsule
1 tsp runny honey
To make the infused oil, fill a jar to within 1/2 inch from the top
with almond, or what ever oil you want. Fill the jar to the top with
the crushed flowers. place in a sunny window for a month, turning and stirring everyday. Strain. Measure 2 tbsp infused oil, beeswax and honey and place in a heat-proof bowl over a pan of water. Melt at a medium heat. When melted, remove the bowl from the heat and stir in the contents of one Vitamin E capsule. When it has slightly cooled add the essential oil and keep on stirring until you reach a creamy consistency. Pour into small dark glass jars, leaving to fully
solidify. store in a cool dark place.
The rest of the infused oil can be used as a bath oil or as a body
oil, store in the same way.
