Eucalyptus oil is an effective analgesic and is often used to relieve muscle, nerve and joint pain.
Apply a massage oil to the affected area before a warm bath, then massage the area again after your bath.
I like a blend of Lavender and Eucalyptus for even better results.
When massaging small areas like a shoulder you can double the amount of essential oils used.
ex. 20-30 drops per 1 oz. carrier oil.

The philosophy of mine earth can be summed up as this: Sunshine creates happiness, and I create myself. Nights are long and life is predominantly good. Wind is refreshing. Tea is wisdom. Do the best you can, and be good to yourself so that you can above all be good to others.

ST. JOHN'S WORT - ( Hypericum perforatum ): The salve is good for burns, wounds, bruises, sores, insect bites, fungal infections such as eczema, and itching. This is my favorite herb to use in salves! St. John's Wort is used internally for the treatment of depression and is currently being researched for possible use in the treatment of AIDS. St. John's Wort can be harvested from the wild if you find large patches of it. I harvest a portion of the flower head and leave a portion on the plant to produce seed. If you pick one of the yellow flowers and rub it between your fingers it will stain your fingers red! Animals develop photosensitivity when they consume St. John's Wort and there is some evidence that humans consuming large amounts of the herb may develop photosensitivity. When using a St. John's Wort Salve it is best not to use it before long periods of sun exposure.
