Plasters were made to help cure colds, pnuemonia and pleurisy. You make a plaster by mixing the herb powder with flour and water till it forms a paste and apply it to a cloth and then place it on a greased chest (vasaline works well). The danger with plasters is that they can burn the skin if left on too long and will cause blisters. Caution should be used when using a plaster as a remedy.
